National Congress of Black Women Inc., Los Angeles Chapter- NCBW-LAC

WHAT: The National Congress of Black Women, Inc., Los Angeles, Chapter presents the 9th Annual Awards Luncheon to celebrate the Theme: “2018 Year of the Woman – Women Making A Difference”.

NCBW-LAC is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit dedicated to the educational, political and cultural development of

African American Women and Youth. www.ncbwinclac.org. From 2016 to 2018, NCBW-LAC awarded 35 scholarships to college bound students totaling $19,600. The L.A. Chapter is a member of the National Congress of Black Women, founded in 1984 by the late Honorable Shirley Chisholm. The NCBW is now under the leadership of Dr. E.
